Protect Lake County is dedicated to preventing targeted acts of violence and enhancing public safety and community well-being in Lake County, Illinois by providing community partners with the tools and expertise needed to identify individuals exhibiting behaviors of concern and who may be at risk of violence or harmful activities, advising on early prevention and intervention strategies to address potential risks, and acting as a central clearinghouse of information, resources, and training.
Protect Lake County is not a formal Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Team but is available to offer suggestions and recommendations that are consultive in nature about next steps.
